"This is for your information- I definitely endorse the original touchdown lure series. I had a few of these stuffed back in my tackle box and this year I took 4 relatively new fisherman out to catch bass on the flats, each on a different night. I was using buzzbaits and T-rigged worm baits on high dollar tackle, and I furnished the newbies with the older touchdown worms out of my tackle box and a simple spincaster 5 1/2 foot rod. I first took my 13 yr old niece who was new to bass fishing out and she caught 3 bass to my zero, bass were not huge but she had fun. I then took her brother out and he caught 3, one of which was 17 inches, largest of the night, I caught one bass. I took my daughter out and she caught 4 to my one. Then I took my granddaughter out and she caught 4 , one of which was 18 inches, 2lb and 10 oz. I caught one on a buzzbait. This has made me a believer again out of Touchdowns that have the bend and weedless hooks, the bass seem to just pick up and hold them. All of these newbies tend not to set hooks, just crank, when I guide again this time of the year, I guarantee Touchdowns will be on the end of their line and my line too. I plan to get some more.
